Upon launching the Tomb Raider 2 movie in the USA and as the featured vehicle was a modified Jeep Wrangler TJ nicknamed the "TR2", Chrysler decided to sell a similar version on the USA market and would not export it. Accordingly, Chrysler Middle East and Trading Enterprises, the Dubai based Jeep dealer decided in a smart move to create their own version which they would sell locally and regionally a move that was approved by Chrysler head quarter. Again, Ramy Trading was awarded the supply of the accessories required for this vehicle after long hours of discussion, design & planning. This was the 1st project as such undertaken by a courageous dealer in the world outside the country of production. It was a success. The "Tomb Raider 2" TJ Jeep featured front & rear Warn bumpers, Mickey Thompson MTX 31x10.5x15 Radial tires, Ultra Wheels, Rancho Steering Stabilizer, Olympic Light Bar & Warn Lights with an assortment of some little accessories more.

In 1997, GM Middle East awarded RamyTrading the pilot project of installing a 4" Rancho Lifting Kit & Shocks with Remote Control along with Mickey Thompson Performance Wheels & Baja Belted HP tires. Following this project, the Dubai dealer National Auto installed several of the lifting kits and sold the modified cars in an average period of 3 days from modification.

Nicknamed the FORTERESS (after modification), Ramy Trading bought 2 GMC pickups in 1997 and decided to modify them to an extreme allowing the Desert Tours companies to see the capacity of these vehicles in the desert after a decade of Toyota & Nissan suprimacy where it was thought that American trucks & SUVs would sink deep into the sands at the first approach. This pickup has a 3/4 ton capacity, was lifted by a 6" Suspension Lifting Kit and a 3" Body Lift Kit. Rear track bars were fitted and modifications were done to allow the vehicle receiving 3 shocks at each side. Mickey Thompson 36" Baja King tires & classical wheels were fitted along with 4.56 differentials ratio allowing the Forteress to pull anything and anywhere from the sands while being loaded. A special Warn bumper and winch were insstalled for special opperations and a skid plate for front protection. A canopy was placed over the trucks bed to shelter either dust & dirt sensitive products or people wishing to have a King Bed in the middle of the desert without having to erect a tent. Last but not least, the beast had a heart transplant boosting its power without forced induction to 410 HP. This car would go almost anywhere at 1/2 cruising speeds of any other vehicle.

In 2007, Al Youssuf Motors, the distributors of Daihatsu in the Northern Emirates, decided to create a BIGFOOT TERIOS destined to advertise the Standard Terios car in the country by getting displayed in several exhibitions and major venues.

Being a major Car Accessories Distributors and Car Modifiers in the region, Al Youssuf Motors contacted Ramy Trading initially to discuss the project and finally approved it.

Since there were no specificaly readymade kits for this project, after indepth studies and research conducted by Ramy Trading, necessary parts were chosen and tailormade to Ramy Trading technical specs and shipped over.

As Ramy Trading's workshop was not ready at the time, Ramy Trading teamed-up with Tadmur workshop to build the BIGFOOT Terios. A process that took nearly 3 months and which resulted into a fully operational 4WD vehicle that drives easily upto 140 kms/h and goes into knees deep soft sand loaded with 4 fully grown adults while engaged in 2WD, not to mention that the car had a 28" suspension travel. The car is Amazing.
